You engage your workforce through company-wide step challenges that every employee can participate in. Employees can do these challenges individually or in groups. Challenges can be set up in less than a minute, here’s how:

Step 1.  Go to the “Program” tab. Click on Challenges.

Step 2. Click the orange (+) plus button in the top right corner of your screen to create a new challenge.

Step 3. Add a title to your challenge and configure the challenge type, format and team size. (for team format only)

Note. There are 3 types of challenge formats that you can choose from.

  • Total (Individual) tracks the total number of steps an employee takes throughout the course of the challenge.
  • Average (individual) tracks the average amount of steps each employee takes daily throughout the course of the challenge.
  • Team allows employees to join and create teams for the step challenge. The team that takes the most total steps wins.

Step 4. Next, use the calendar to select the start and end date of your challenge. Use the drop down menu to select the timezone, start time and end time.  

Step 5. Click the BACK TO CHALLENGES button to return to the main challenges page and click on RELEASE. Employees will now be notified about the new upcoming challenge and be able to sign up directly in the Burner app. 

Note: A minimum of 5 employees must join the challenge for it to start.
